硕士第一年选课求指导

MA第一年第二个学期，以后想申请统计PhD，想在下面这些课中再选两门，请大家给点建议，谢谢。

• Introduction to Real Analysis II
  
• Stochastic Processes
  
• Biostatistical Methods
  
• Sample Design
  
• Experimental Design
  
• Time Series Analysis
  
  

之前毫无数学、统计背景，这个学期学了Introduction to Real Analysis I, Probability Theory, and Numerical Analysis.

课程还得看详细内容，你这些课有多深？
光看名字的话Real Analysis继续学吧，2和6也比较重要

Introduction to Real Analysis II
The Riemann-Stieltjes integral; sequences of functions; series of real numbers; series of functions; and optional topics selected from transcendental functions, special functions, Fourier series, and metric spaces.
Stochastic Processes
Stochastic models including discrete and continuous time; Markov chains and Brownian motion; introduction to topics: Guassian processes, queues, theory of dams and storage, epidemic models, branching processes, renewal processes.
Time Series Analysis
Stochastic stationary and nonstationary models; use in forecasting seasonal and nonseasonal discrete time series; fitting models to time series data.

放假了，老师们不在办公室，还没回邮件。。

楼主毫无数学统计背景也申到统计的硕士吗？能问一下本科专业不？
我本科学的统计，但感觉专业基础很弱，不知道接着读硕会不会鸭梨山大啊。。。
楼主方便透露现在在哪所学校么？

Sorry but can only type English in my office.
I got B.S. in chemistry. Since you have taken some statistics courses, it should not be a problem for you to be an excellent student in any master program :)
I am graduating this year and just accepted an offer from a PhD program. Good luck to you. Just go for your heart.
