The CLAIR (Clemson AI Research) Lab at the Department of Computer Science of Clemson University is seeking outstanding candidates to fill 1-2 PhD student positions starting from the Fall 2022 semester. Students will work in the areas of Machine Learning and Data Science, with their applications in Medical Image Computing, NLP, Bioinformatics and Computer Vision. Fully funded RA/TA positions will be provided in the Department of Computer Science at Clemson University. These research assistantships are to work with Dr. Kai Liu towards Ph.D. degrees.
Desirable applicants should have BS or above degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or other related fields, and strong motivation towards high quality research. All students will work with Dr. Liu on multidisciplinary research projects and publish papers in top journals and conferences (e.g., NIPS/ICML/AAAI/IJCAI, CVPR/ICCV, KDD/SDM ...).
