Offer PhD CS@uChicago

第一个Offer，终于放下心来。之前被UWashington和UWMadison连番虐过，差点就再申几所了。

没有面试，直接给的offer，uChicago CS 是比较水的，不过不管了，有书读就好。

Your 9-month stipend for the coming academic year will be $22,500 ($2,500 per month from October through June), and the Department of Computer Science will cover the cost of your tuition and the individual premium for the student health insurance offered by the University.  You will not be assigned any teaching assistantship duties in your first year.

You are also one of the few applicants selected to receive the University’s prestigious McCormick Fellowship, which will provide you with an additional $4,500 per year for two years.

After the completion of your first academic year, we will provide support in the amount of $5,000 for Summer Quarter 2015.

Generally, we continue to fund students through their sixth year of study, usually as teaching assistants (TAs) or research assistants (RAs), as long as they make satisfactory progress towards their degree and meet the obligations of their support.
