Daycare退押金的policy

准备月底把娃送到另一个day care，提前一个月给了notice，当时现在这个daycare也确认了押金会当作最后一个月的学费。
昨天day care的owner突然让我付这个月的学费，说之前没看我们的start date，后来发现不满一年，因为policy里有这么一条：

Deposit: Your child's position is reserved upon receipt of 1 month’s tuition deposit. This deposit will be
applied to the last month of care, if the child has been with us for over one year.

另外还有一条：

TERMINATION OF SERVICES (WAC 110-300-0485)
1. You are required to give 1 months’ notice of your intent to terminate care. Your deposit will
cover the last month’s tuition. If you should terminate your child's care without notice, the deposit will not be refunded.

我的理解是我们给了一个月的notice，按照合同就应该能用押金抵学费，因为没有明说不到一年不退押金。如果反正都不退押金，谁还会提前给notice啊。但是owner非说第一条的意思就是不到一年不退押金的意思。

我就发邮件表达了没说不能退就是能退的意思。然后对面回我说非常disappointed，把钱退我，别来烦他了。
虽然钱退了，但是跟吃了个苍蝇似的。娃还要在他那里半个月，现在就非常难受。

人家合同写得挺清楚的，Over one Year可以退。
给1 Month notice也写得挺清楚的，于情于理确实都应该告知学校。
既然觉得最后半个月苟着难受那就别去了呗。
