导师信息：徐素素博士现为纽约州立大学石溪分校 (SUNY Stony Brook) 土木工程系和计算机系双聘助理教授。课题组研究方向为结合物理模型，智能感知和机器学习进行城市感知和计算。课题组和Stanford University以及美国地质调查局以及清华大学有长期紧密合作。个人主页: susu-xu.com

主要研究方向
(1) Mobile crowdsensing network platforms for efficiency and fairness of urban monitoring and understanding;
(2) Multi-modal and physics-informed machine learning algorithms for urban computing;
(3) Graphical modeling and remote sensing techniques for rapid disaster response.
Target applications include spatio-temporal urban sensing and data mining (air pollution, traffic, noise), large-scale infrastructure monitoring (buildings, bridges, and railway tracks), and rapid responses to earthquake and hurricanes.

现课题组招收博士生开展相关方向的研究工作。
背景要求：
1. Strongly self-motivated
2. 有良好的数理基础
3. 对编程有兴趣, 掌握至少一门编程语言
4. 有信号处理，统计，优化，Remote Sensing, 或机器学习的相关背景优先
