Postdoctoral research associate, PhD student, research assistant and visiting student positions are available in the UNC ACM Lab (www.acmlab.org) in the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-ChapelHill). Our current research focuses on developing cutting-edge machine learning approach torapidly diagnose, track, and treat neurodisorders.

The successful candidates will support our effort in the advancing neuroimaging processing andanalysis technologies (e.g., segmentation, registration, prediction, modeling, pattern analysis, etc.) We are seeking talented, highly motivated individuals who have extensive research experience inmachine learning and/or biomedical image processing and demonstrated academic excellenceincluding publications in first-class journals or conferences. The postdoctoral candidates shouldhave a Ph.D.(or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Biomedical Data ScienceMathematics. Statistics, Neuroscience or related technical discipline. Good command ofprogramming tools including Python, C++, Linux and scripting are necessary to carry out theresearch work in this group. Plus, we are looking for prospective undergraduate students (preferer rising seniors) and graduate students who have a background in applied mathematics/physics forthe research assistant position.

The successful candidate will be part of a diverse group including neuroscientists. radiologistspsychologists, physicists, biostatisticians and computer scientists, and will build upon the group'extensive foundation on computational medicine.
