第六章 摸着石头过河和撒开脚丫乱跑(下)
简历准备的过程中,还可以顺便准备一下ps。个人认为,ps是cv之中研究经历的一个补充说明。在cv之中的一句话,可以扩展成ps中的一小段。需要注意的是,ps和cv一样,惜字如金,不要废话,楼主个人觉得第一段用于过渡,不能太短,也不能太俗套。太俗套的意思是,这几年好像十个人里面八个小时候爸爸都给他买了玩具汽车,然后十个人里面十个第一次碰到电脑就决定为它奋斗终身,楼主当时的ps第一段是这么写的,各位可以参考一下。

Having acquired some basic knowledge of circuit, I developed keen interest in electricity at high school. I was always wondering why we need direct current and alternating current both, why bulb can be electrified but humans cannot, why resistance became larger when cascaded but smaller when paralleled. Such questions propelled me to choose electrical engineering as my major. Thanks to this decision, I have spent tons of happy time enjoying the sense of fulfillment and excitement when witnessing the waveforms that I craved appearing in the oscilloscope. Undoubtedly it is this irreplaceable interest that becomes my very source of passion towards research and drives me to stand out in this field.

During my undergraduate and graduate study, I took an active part in seminars and lectures in campus. More impressively, I volunteered in the 7th IPEMC, 2012, through which I had a chance to communicate face-to-face with esteemed scholars around the world. That was when I grew extremely interested in power electronics and new energy, paying special attention to photovoltaic (PV) power system. I am deeply convinced that this promising field would lead the trend soon. Therefore, I decided to further my study abroad. As I came to notice that CoPEC in Colorado, boulder is highly competent in this field, I took to apply for Electric Engineering PHD program of Colorado.

More importantly, I think I match CoPEC very well because what I have done until now is strongly related to Power Electronics and Renewable Energy Systems. In detail, my research is devoted to control of converters including inverter and rectifier by far. Besides, I have designed a low-power double paralleled switched power supply system. After referring to lots of literature, I realized the relations are as follows:

As mentioned before, when I was designing the low-power double paralleled switched power supply system, I chose Buck circuit as main circuit so that I was familiar with the control and notice of DC-DC, the method of designing parameters like capacitor and inductor considering how to reduce current and voltage ripple. I also have tested the MPPT based on incremental conduction so that I know the principle and realization of which to some degree. In addition, I have also studied how to output related multi PWM signals because two power supplies were paralleled which demanded two simultaneous ones. And actually, I found that a PV system usually contains many series–parallel modules of PV cells connected to bidirectional DC-DC converters. The efficiency of each module is needed to be controlled optimal using MPPT algorithm. And reducing switching losses and core losses by parameter optimizing is needed, too. Meanwhile, the current ripple can be mitigated by synchronized and phase shifted of four driving signals came from module microcontrollers. So I think my experience will be beneficial to design and control of bidirectional DC-DC converters.
In addition, I have kept researching on control of three-phase high power factor rectifier and three- phase inverter under harmonics and unbalanced grid conditions. In the former research, I used PLL and current strategy based on q-axis orientation and PI controller to achieve the goal of power factor higher than 95%, the THD of AC current less than 5% and ripple of DC voltage less than 2%. When doing the latter, I designed a modified phase-locked-loop (PLL) based on EPLL and chose a double-dq transformation with PR controller as current strategy to mitigate the effect of non-ideal grid condition and to ensure the output currents were balanced, low-THD and without reactive component. As far as I am concerned, the PV system needs four-quadrant control of inverter to guarantee the voltage stability of DC-bus. And as I mentioned before, I have gained precious experience from past researches so that I have some understanding about four quadrant control of an inverter. To sum up, I am very confident in applying knowledge and experience to control the voltage of DC-bus.. 1point3acres.com
Furthermore, when doing researches above, I have used many microcontrollers such as DSP TMS320F28335, TMS320F2812 and DSPIC 30F4011. Specifically, I tested the SPI communication between DSP TMS320F28335 and DAC 7715. Moreover, I have analyzed the performance of filters like Goertzel, Finite Impulse Response filter and filter based on Enhanced PLL. According to what I have got from the references, the PV system needs coordinated control of multi DC-DC converters to realize optimal or suboptimal power flow. Plus, both reducing the rate of change of inverter output power and providing a fast speed of AC reference for the charger current is utilized by a suitable high-pass filter. I don’t think I will be unfamiliar with SPI or the control and communication of multi converters. And I’ll be also have related knowledge and experience about choosing and designing a filter.. 1point 3 acres

As concluded above, I think my experience in the past is strongly related to the project and research of CoPEC. What’s more, I am confident that CoPEC can improve my ability as an electrical engineer. In sum, I think CoPEC and I match each other very well.
.google и当然,match的程度取决于你做了什么和他做了什么。因此我建议在ps之前一定要详细记录学校,实验室,教授的研究领域与项目情况。之后有针对的写,不要泛泛而谈,每一句都抓住重点,写完了可以问一问自己,这句话和他们的哪一个项目的哪一个方面有关,如果有关,保留,如果无关,请毫不犹豫把它删掉。

个人感觉,这样的一篇ps虽然并没有特别出彩的地方,但是却按部就班的把自己介绍了出来,同时也把自己和对方联系了起来。而当你小心翼翼的把第一篇ps写出来之后,剩下的就好办多了。由于你做的东西就这么多,能变的就只能是对方实验室的项目或课题。基本思路就是,举个例子,比如说你做过4个project,2个和a领域有关,两个和b领域有关。当碰上a领域的学校,就详写前两个project,碰上b领域的学校就详写后两个project。用这种方法去填充你的ps,这就是我认为ps的思路。随着ps写的越来越多,实际上你到最后就会越写越顺,就像一个蹒跚学步的小孩,抓住了要领,就能撒开脚步往前大步的奔跑了。 |
