UTD AD 守住德州

Congratulations!

The CS graduate admissions committee has recommended that you be admitted to our graduate program.  Your admission is not formalized until you receive an “official” letter of admittance from the UTD Office of Enrollments Services (OES).  This formal acceptance from OES is subject to any missing documents they may request.  In order to register for courses, you must provide proof of your degree completion with you to UTD (provisional certificate, degree conferral, etc.).  If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the Office of Enrollment Services.

The Department of Computer Science has admitted you with condition you complete the following prerequisite courses:

CS 5333           Discrete Mathematics

CS 5349           Automata Theory

CS 5343           Data Structures & Algorithms

CS 5354           Software Engineering

CS 5348           Operating Sy[color=rgb(85, 85, 85) !important]stems Concepts

CS 5390           Computer Networks

Please note: All assigned prerequisite courses will NOT be waived.

有几个疑问，希望大家能帮助

1. 要提交 Official Deg/Dipl-Eng/Org Lang，楼主已经毕业了，official还要回学校弄那个密封信么？

Please submit an official attested photocopy of your bachelors degree certificate and graduation diploma in the original language AND an English translation translated by your university or an approved translation company to the Office of Enrollment Services. FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN ADMISSION DECISION, unofficial copies are acceptable; however prior to registering for classes, official, attested documents in the original language are required. In order for your academic documents to be official they must be in a school sealed envelope with the school seal or signature on the back side of the envelope.

2. 看了下，要补六门课，楼主转专业[color=rgb(85, 85, 85) !important]申请的，没有cs背景，多上些基础课倒是不排斥，打扎实些基础总没坏处，但是这是一副上三年学的节奏啊 啊啊啊啊  email的红字是真的么，我考古了一下往年帖子，好像有人说不需要都上的，只需要完成自己track的基础课就好，疑惑中？

3. 想问一下，德州居住满一年可以申请周内学费，有同学有UTD转成州内学费的经验么？

德州的阵地是保住了,还申了个SMU,pending中. 前几天两连跪，每个都及时报rej，攒人品，看来还是有用的，地里的小伙伴有米的捧个场送米据说也攒rp哦   没米的也希望大家都能拿到dream校

我觉得我少了这封信，应该从oes发过来的。
但是被跳过了，我直接收到isso的信了。
难道是系统bug
After OES sends you the official admittance letter, your file will be forwarded to the UTD International Student Services Office (ISSO) for I-20 review. The ISSO issues all I-20s and handles all immigration matters for international students. You should receive an email from ISSO shortly, informing you of your I-20 status and requesting any documents needed for I-20 issuance.

难道是因为我在applicant center点了accept，而不是在Student Center 进行操作的结果。
可是现在student center里也没有accept的链接了。
applicant center中的状态是Intention to Matriculate（意向录取）

好吧，按照我的英语阅读能力，我觉得这段话应该理解成oes发了正式通知后，我们的材料会提交到isso做i20。没错吧

我就不对这个学校的混乱管理做评价了。

不需要所有先修课都上，只要上一部分就好。

又仔细看了看学校课程的详解， 最后不出意外选 traditional track的话应该要修五门课，还是挺多的其实，这样学费有的贵...

不要选tradition就好了。找个先修最少的。。
