【UMich新项目】quantitative finance and risk management

这个新项目开在数院下面，课程设置三个学期，侧重随机分析+金融计算（数值方法）+统计方法

目前由于几所牛校结果还没出，而且这个新项目3.1截止，LZ在犹豫要不要再申一下这个新项目。。

不知道大家觉得密西根安娜堡分校这个地理位置怎么样？会不会就业机会非常的少。。因为LZ并不了解几年前的旧项目financial engineering（后来关闭了）的就业情况，先谢谢各位~

Is this a brand new program beginning from this year? Does it have anything to do with the Master of Financial Engineering program offered by College of Engineering?
This is a brand new program offered jointly by the Mathematics and Statistics Departments.  The Financial Engineering Program previously offered by the College of Engineering no longer exists.  This program will have some similarities but with a bigger emphasis on both Mathematical and Statistical Theory.

Apart from what is on the website, is there any additional information about career service?
All of the information you need to know is located on the website.  We will have placement services available to students admitted to this program to assist with internships as well as placement after graduation.

The current deadline to apply is March 1.  We plan to begin making offers shortly after the deadline.

推荐信尽早吧，成绩单寄出去了就等他收查就好。
