7th AD from BME@CMU

收到了CMU BME的AD，本来申的是research的项目，被降到授课型了

没有任何BME的Research，只有一个和学长做的智能手环勉强挂一点点的边，果然是不行的，降为授课也是理所应当。。。。。

本来申这个项目就是看重了可以做research，发paper这个特点，他家很多教授做的东西还是挺有意思的，如果可以做research还是挺想去的，说不定就继续读个PHD了




但是既然是授课的就不打算去了，会尽快withdraw，攒点人品！！！

Thank you for your application to the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program at Carnegie Mellon University.

Due to a large and competitive applicant pool for a limited number of openings we are unable to admit you to the Research-Option Masters program. However, we are pleased to off your admission into the Practicum-Option Masters program, beginning in the Fall 2015 semester. The standard length of this Practicum Option Masters program is 16 months (3 academic semesters), although it is possible for some students to complete all the requirements in 9 months.

The cost of training includes annual tuition of $42,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year as well as some miscellaneous student fees, which totaled $702 USD for the 2014-2015 academic year and may be adjusted by the University for the 2015-2016 academic year. Graduate students are required to maintain health insurance coverage on their own or through a parent/spouse. There are a few additional opportunities for compensation. Some students, depending on level of English language skill, may be recruited for teaching assistant (TA) duties with compensation. TA duties may not be compatible with students who wish to complete the Practicum-Option M.S. degree in 9 months, due to potential schedule conflicts and course pressure.

You will need to submit official exam scores and official final transcripts prior to enrollment. Please be advised that we reserve the right to verify the authenticity of your supporting documents (including recommendation letters) upon your acceptance of this offer. Graduate students working with individuals under the age of 18 may be required to obtain certain clearances under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law, known as "Act 153." If the University determines that you are covered by Act 153, we will notify you and assist you in obtaining the clearances necessary to serve as a teaching or research assistant.

楼主！求问还有木有面试了？CMU有的专业貌似回复了之后还要再安排面试，面试之后才能最终确定结果~一个同学是药学的，CUM录了之后又约他面试…我原来也在等别的offer，知道之后赶快回了过去，不过都两天了还没收到面试通知，不知道是录了还是没处理到我这里…

没有吧，往年也没看到这个项目录取后有面试啊

而且录取信里面也没提到面试啊
