Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admissions to the Master’s program in the College of Optical Sciences at The University of Arizona for the Fall 2015 semester. Your exceptional academic achievements have prepared you well to join the company of scholars, professors, and researchers in our College. We hope you will join us this fall.
The University of Arizona is a signatory to the Council of Graduate Schools Resolution that no student must accept an offer of admission or financial support prior to April 15th of each year (http://www.cgsnet.org/april-15-resolution). This resolution has been signed by over 400 over Universities. Since other students may be on a waiting list, we request that if you make your decision before that time, you let us know as soon as possible. However, you are not required to do so.

No special form is required to give us your decision, simply email Justin Parker, our Graduate Coordinator, at jparker@optics.arizona.edu to accept or decline. Upon receipt of your acceptance to join us we will recommend formal admissions to the Graduate College. They will issue your Certificate of Admissions providing all admissions requirements are met (official transcripts and GPA). We certainly hope you will choose to accept, but should you decline, your prompt decision will enable us to offer admissions to another prospective student.
While we are unable to offer our Master’s students funding at this time, you are welcome to explore open Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships on campus, as well as internal and external scholarships that you qualify for. You can find more information on tuition, fees, and funding on our website: http://www.optics.arizona.edu/academics/funding.
If you have any questions, my staff or I will be happy to answer them. Feel free to contact me by phone, fax or e-mail. We sincerely hope you decide to join us as a student at the College of Optical Sciences, and ultimately become one of the over 1800 alumni who have received an M.S. or Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona. -baidu 1point3acres
