I strongly support this proposed rule that allows international students to work in tech industry for another 36 months for couple of reasons.

First, international students have pretty good performance in tech companies. a lot of tech companies have decent amount of international employees working for them. They have been the mainstream in those tech companies. Not passing this proposed rule means that these companies may risk losing those employees if they don't have work visa once their OPT expires. This will be a great loss to those companies.

Besides, this would attract more international students to come to US for study, which can stimulate the domestic consumption as well as bringing more fund to universities.

Some people may say that the arrival of international students caused the competitiveness in the tech market and a lot of US citizens don't get hired because of them. This is true. However, I think this is good because this can encourage those people to work harder so they can become better. Otherwise, they will just be satisfied with what they have right now and make less improvement on themselves.
