Thank you for your application to the MS in Mathematical Finance program at the Boston University Questrom School of Business.  Due to the large number of applications received this year, admission is very competitive. Upon initial consideration, the Admissions Committee is unable to offer you a place in the class entering in Fall 2017. In view of your qualifications, we have placed your name on our wait list for reconsideration should a vacancy occur. All decisions on wait-listed candidates will be made no later than July 2017; however we will notify you immediately if space becomes available. Quite often, an applicant's professional, academic, or personal status may change. If you have new information that you would like to share with the Admissions Committee, please feel free to send it to us. Your new information will become part of your file and will be taken in consideration by the Committee.

If you are no longer interested in remaining on our waitlist, please let us know. Otherwise, you will be notified immediately of any changes in your admissions status.

We realize this decision makes it difficult for you to plan for the future, and we will attempt to make a definitive decision on your application as quickly as possible. We very much appreciate your interest in the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
