ISSUE #19 作文求改

题目:
#19 Governments should focus on solving the immediate problems of today rather than on trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.

正文:
Governments are responsible for their people and they are supposed to be essential role to lead their people a brilliant future. Dealing with the problems of a country is the most important function of a government. The statement that government should take care of the immediate issues of today rather than solve the foreseeable problems of the future is totally unconvincing. I believe that a government should try to fix the imperative issues no matter they are imminent or they are still far away.

Some governments may try to deal with some small problems to show their effectiveness immediately. For example, cancelling or modifying some outmoded rules which is not a big deal for the country. They do these only to try to appear they are effective which can be beneficial for the next election. In this way, it brings no positive effects to the country.

Aside from what is mentioned above, some other governments focus to solve some foreseeable problems to show that they are more visionary to see the issues which is still far away. But the country will not only be beneficial from those solved issues which are trivial and irrelevant. For instance, enacting a law to allocate the park spaces for heavy motors which are very rare in the country.

However, focusing on solving important issues can be truly advantageous to the country and its people. For example, giving greatest effort to fine the cure for the disease which killed lots of citizens.  Building complete system to prevent the fatal disease that spreads in the countries around us. These case are imperative to the government to take actions regardless they are happening or not.

In the summary, it is not about solving problems that are happening or in the future. Governments should try to solve the most important issues which can be a greatest advantage to its people.

However, focusing on solving important issues can be truly advantageous to the country and its people no matter whether they are immediate or not. For example, devoting  a lot of effort to find the cure for the diseases which have killed lots of citizens; establishing a complete system to prevent the fatal disease  from spreading.  It is imperative for a government to take actions regardless of if they have happened yet or not.

In summary, it is not about solving problems that are happening or will happen in the future. Governments should try to solve the most important issues which can bring the most benefit to the most people.
