甜筒是cone (通常会另外加钱), 有sugar cone或者waffle cone

37课不对劲啊
Yoba, Bam chi ga bon-bon　根本查不到，唯一的结果就是这篇里面来的。。。。。。还是别学习这个了。
Hanky panky 还是听说过。。。。Damn-it boy，不就是Damn it 后面＋谁谁的说法么，不觉得是前面damn it是修饰boy的。。。。。

The strongest earthquake of the century struck/hit Taiwan on Sep. 21
The earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale shook Taiwan, causing severe damage to infrastructure in several cities.
表示地震强度的方法有二种, 第一种是以其释放出的总能量来计算, 就是所谓的规模(magnitude) 最常用的就是芮式规模(Richter scale). 另外一种是强度(intensity), 是以各地实际上摇晃的强度而定, 例如台北四级, 台中六级.
The epicenter of the quake was situated at Chi-Chi in central Taiwan.
It cut off the power and the water supply in broad areas.
More than 2, 000 are killed and 8000 injured in this disaster.
The quake has left 2000 dead, 或是More than 2000 died in the quake.
There are still hundreds of people buried alive under the rubble/debris.

地震规模的计算公式为 logE=11.8+1.5ML (E为能量,ML为芮氏规模), 所以ML每增加1.0 ,能量差约10^1.5=30倍, 地震史迄今最大规模8.9, 相当于此次集集大震的40 倍.
而地震震度则是衡量地表人类感受震动的激烈程度, 世界上大概只有台湾和日本在使用, 其为整数,共分0~6级,亦可由加速度来衡量, 计算公式为其与地震震度的关系为logA=0.5I-0.6(A为加速度, I为震度) 6级为加速度250gal以上, 1gal= 1cm^2/sec, 而1g=980 gal. 所以六级的强震就相当于0.25g. 据闻此次大次震最大震度超过900 gal 也就是大约在1g 左右, 远远超过六级强震的标准.

大家可以试着先翻译看看: 走这条单行道, 在第一个红绿灯时左转, 那里就是Hemphill Ave. 是一条双线道. 往下走, 你会在你的左边看到一个加油站, 继续走50 码, 直到看到一个三叉路口, 右转, 经过二个stop sign. 你就会碰到Wal Mart. 邮局就在Wal Mart 的对面. 而杨先生的家呢? 邮局后面就是啦. 1. Take the one-way street. 走这条单行道.
2. You will stay on the street for a while until you hit the first traffic light./stop light/stop sign etc
3. Then take/make a left into/onto Hemphill Ave.
4. It will be Hemphill Ave. It's two-lane traffic.
5. Come down Hemphill Ave about five blocks.
6. You will see a BP gas station on your left.
7. Keep going/keep straight/continue straight 50 yards before you come to a fork road. 三叉路口.
丁字路口This road will dead end into 10th Street.
8. Make a right, pass two stop signs and you will run into a Wal Mart.
You'll run into it! /You can't miss it!
9. The post office is just right across the street of it.
The office is next to it.
10. Mr. Yang's house is behind the post office.

很常用到的一个动词: Come. 分别是come down, come up, come out, come in, come on, come off, come by, come to 跟come into play.
The rain is coming down./ It's raining,/it's starting to rain.
Do you want to come down? 下楼
I came up with a good idea to that question./a great solution.
We haven't come to a conclusion yet.
Christmas is coming up/Santa Clause is coming to town (歌)
"Christmas is around the corner./drawing near
"Coming up next: The weather forecast." (下一段节目: 天气预报.)
"Do you wanna come out with me?"
Don't let the stuff come out. 不要让（饺子馅）跑出来.
