前几日发邮件问了多伦多大学统计硕士小米一些情况，小米回复很详细，大家看看：

1. Does this program have a thesisrequirement for graduation? And Does this program provide Co-op option?  Our MSc  program is course work base only.  No thesis is required andno we don't offer  co-op

2. How many students are admitted to thisprogram? And how many international applicants are admitted?   As my email above indicates, the program is very competative.  We admitted20 domestic students last year and 2 visa

3.Is it necessary for me to find a supervisor? Could it affect my chances ofadmission or financial support if I don’t find one?  You don't need tofind a supervisor because our program is course base not thesis,  weassign a mentor to our MSc students  once they're admitted to theprogram.  If you are accepted to the program, we do have guaranteedfunding to fund your for  the 8  months that you're here.

加国都这样, 基本不存在不歧视外国人的学校和项目
其中最BT的就是UToronto 和Queens

看来要悲剧了 我今年就申了多大统计 现在还没消息呢

我有两个同学都申到了13Fall多大，都加拿大本科，一个本科精算一个本科统计，GPA和国际学生比差点儿，和local比绝对没问题，情侣俩都是全奖，但最最重要的是他俩手持PR身份啊啊啊，其他相似背景的同学都悲剧了。。。

多大的统计怎么样？都没怎么了解过。。
项目只有8个月吗？好短啊。。

我去。。。。。。。太歧视外国人了吧。。这样做没有道理啊
