Ph.D. positions with full financial support, starting in Spring/Fall 2019, are now available in Prof. Bing Li's research group in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Clemson University, which is a Tier 1 research institution and ranked as 66th Best National Universities in 2019 U.S. News & World Report.

Prof. Li's lab is located at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville (a beautiful and livable city). CU-ICAR is one of the most prestigious automotive engineering programs in the U.S. and is conducting leading automotive and intelligent manufacturing research <www.cuicar.com>.

The prospective candidates are expected to work on cutting-edge research areas in autonomous robotics/vehicle multi-modal sensor fusion, visual perception, machine/deep learning, artificial intelligence, signal processing, optimization and control. Students who are self-motivated and meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

- Master degree in Electrical/Automotive/Computer Engineering, Automation and Control, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related majors. Outstanding undergraduate students will also be considered;

- Mathematical background and programming skills in Matlab, Python, or C/C++.

- Previous research experiences with robotics, computer vision, image processing, machine/deep learning, and signal processing are preferred, but not required.
