Openings available for Ph.D. students in 2019 Fall
Dr. Dong Dai, an assistant professor in the Computer Science department of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, is looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students with solid backgrounds in Computer System.
Dong's main research interests include high-performance computing, large-scale metadata management, distributed graph storage, and data-intensive machine learning infrastructure. His research results have been published in top-tier conferences and journals such as SC, HPDC, PACT, and TPDS. The Candidates with good programming skills, knowledge on operating system or other distributed systems, or experience on hacking open source projects are particularly preferred.
