TheIntelligent Autonomous Systems Lab (http://ualr.edu/cxye/laboratory.htm) of the University of Arkansasat Little Rockhas one Ph.D. student opening for Spring/Fall 2013. The successful candidatewill be involved in a NASA funded project and develop 3D computer visionmethods for robot navigation. We will use a 3D Flash LIDAR Camera to collectintensity and range data for autonomous navigation. This position will besupported by a Research Assistantship. The student will work together with apost-doc funded by the same grant. The research team will work on a wide rangeof research problems on robot vision, including 6-DOF pose estimation bycomputer vision, terrain mapping, 3D data segmentation, and autonomousnavigation.
