controls and dynamics这个方向很看着托福

除夕夜面试之后，教授告诉我基本无望，因为我口语没到23（18），第一轮的Phd的offer应该是发出了，waiting list上的如果托福很高就比较有竞争力。

面试都没收到，口语22，看来ND已然无望了，虽然是意料之中但还是很桑心。。。

I appreciate the enthusiasm and interest, but the controls and dynamics group cannot recommend you to the department for admission because your TOEFL speaking score is below our decided minimum of a 23.  This puts you significantly down on the list for the controls and dynamics group and preference has been given to international students who have high TOEFL scores.  This doesn’t mean that other groups within the department cannot recommend you (if they choose to deviate from general policy), but we as the controls and dynamics group have decided to maintain the general policy.   I regret to say this, but you should probably be focusing your efforts on institutions with lower TOEFL requirements.  I wish you the best and it was a pleasure speaking with you.
