不能按时毕业学校说我F1身份失效了

最后一个学期QPA没够3.0， office of international education说不符合毕业要求，F1身份失效，大家知道这种情况怎么搞么？

楼主 如何延期毕业获得学位你也许要和学校协商 但F1身份失效/SEVIS ID中止的后果和应对 你可以参考以下信息 这是由律师提供的：
In general, when a student is terminated for any violation of status there is no grace period. He can apply for reinstatement if he is in the US or if he doesn’t apply for reinstatement he must leave immediately. He is accruing unlawful presence now and must be mindful that is he hits 6 months of unlawful presence he triggers a bar to reentry in the future after he leaves the US.      

The options are:



(1) file a reinstatement with USCIS with a new I-20 (pro: he can stay in the US while this is pending. cons: he is in limbo while this is pending. If USCIS denies it, he has to leave the country and he may have accrued over 180 days of unlawful presence. USCIS may take several months to adjudicate.) ; or



(2) leave the U.S. and return with a new I-20 (we will need a copy of his F-1 visa stamp to confirm he still has time on the visa. If not, he will need to apply for a new one at the consular post in her home country).

(pro: this can be done relatively quickly—especially if he still has time on her visa. He will not accrue over 180 days of unlawful presence if he leaves soon. con: he has to leave the U.S. temporarily.)

Quality Point Average. 这是CMU对于GPA的叫法。目测lz是CMU的。

谢谢老哥。刚收到消息说去年有个学长情况跟我一样申请一个新I20延毕就好了，希望我也差不多吧。
