东北大学之前cs general拒现在要我转coe下面的专业，感觉不会再爱了

综排差，其他专业相比cs来说基本没门槛，所以感觉很没诚意......
According to university records, you were denied entry to the Khoury College of Computer Sciences. We are sorry that was not the outcome you were hoping for. However, your profile was reviewed by the College of Engineering (COE), and it was determined that you may have a background appropriate for COE programs. The purpose of this email is to invite you to apply to the COE as an alternative. It is important to emphasize that this message is not an offer of acceptance to the COE, but a simple invitation to apply to the COE for admissions consideration. Thank you in advance for your continued interest in graduate studies programs at Northeastern University. This email contains instructions on how to submit a simplified application to the Graduate School of Engineering within the College of Engineering.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Review the College of Engineering's menu of graduate programs, decide what alternative program(s) you may be interested in, and update your statement of purpose accordingly. Because of your strong background and high interest in Northeastern, you are invited to submit a simplified application to the COE with a waiver of the application fee preferably by Deadline: January 15, 2020. Click here to review the COE admissions page, if needed for reference.

Click on "create account" (Note: Since the graduate admissions process is de-centralized at Northeastern, you must create an account for each separate program that you are interested in).

During the application process, you will be prompted to upload electronic copies of your unofficial transcripts from any and all universities that you ever attended, a statement of purpose reflecting your goals, and your resume/CV. These items are required to complete the application process. In addition, you will be required to register at least two (2) recommenders. After you submit your application, notify your recommenders to ignore prompts to complete the electronic process, as your letters can be retrieved from your previous application if needed. Next, on the application, self-report your GRE/TOEFL/IELTS test scores when prompted to do so, if you took the exams, and if required of you as an applicant. There is no need to have your official scores sent at this time. Finally, when it comes time to pay the fee, select "Pay by Check." Do not send any payment; your application fee will be waived. Note that most applicants to COE programs who apply by January 15 will receive their official decision by March 15.

现在看来没录你挺好的

楼主说综排差，今年NEU综排40名，那看来楼主可能只申请了tpo30？
PS.今年COE下面的EE专排，NEU也比NYU高呢，楼主可以去看一下~
说除了cs，其他基本没门槛，这个说辞也太片面了吧~

论坛里很多 NEU 的校友的，太直白可能会招黑...

国内名气也小，和中介合作，但是mscs还是可以的，其他真的就算了hhh

我也收到了，但是真是脑抽申请了neu...没想到bar真的那么迷

怎么感觉总比没有好？COE下面 也有CSE吧
相反，直接拒了，又有人说，今年情况不好啊+bar很迷+大佬们又把其他学校收割了个遍 -》要失学了...

楼主本身bg应该不错，但neu这么建议，或许can be其他bg不那么强+最后处于失学边缘的人的救命稻草
