UCLA （physics）大概是在今年2月7号做出的第一批decision.
got the email from one of the PI:

"
At UCLA, we are processing all the applications.

You are one of the finalists.  One of the difficulties is financial situation of the Department.

Namely, the Department cannot support foreign students, so you must be financially sponsored by a PI of the research group, like myself.

I am happy to consider proposing your name, but I can only do for one student this point.
"

我非常感激这一封邮件，不过还是把机会留给别人吧。
但是还是收到了好人卡。。
说明UC系列不全是默拒。
