亚马逊为仓库工人建立邻里健康诊所

亚马逊周二宣布，该公司将在少数城市为仓库工人及其家人建立邻里健康诊所，达拉斯的沃斯堡地区、凤凰城、路易斯维尔、底特律和加州圣贝纳迪诺将作为首批试点的城市。亚马逊预计将在这五个城市开设20个健康中心，如果试点成功，2021年将在其他州和城市建立更多的健康中心。

这些诊所会由Crossover Health一家与自保雇主合作提供医疗保健服务的初创公司来运营和配备人员，专门为亚马逊仓库员工提供服务。由于亚马逊仓库是24小时开房，健康中心也会相应延长开放时间来适应员工们的工作时间。诊所将会提供急性、慢性和预防性初级保健、开处方药、疫苗接种、物理治疗和脊椎按摩等服务。此计划也是旨在为仓库工人提供一系列的预防性护理资源，以代替费用比较高昂的急诊或有限的紧急护理方案。

Amazon announced on Tuesday that the company will establish neighborhood health clinics for warehouse workers and their families in a few cities. Dallas' Fort Worth area, Phoenix, Louisville, Detroit and San Bernardino, California will be the first pilot cities. Amazon is expected to open 20 health centers in these five cities. If the pilot is successful, more health centers will be established in other states and cities in 2021.

These clinics will be operated and staffed by Crossover Health, a startup that provides health care services in partnership with self-insured employers, specifically to serve Amazon warehouse employees. Since the Amazon warehouse is open 24 hours, the health center will also extend the opening hours accordingly to adapt to the working hours of employees. The clinic will provide services for acute, chronic and preventive primary care, prescribing medicines, vaccination, physical therapy and chiropractic. This plan is also designed to provide warehouse workers with a series of preventive care resources to replace expensive emergency or limited emergency care programs.  source
