还剩一学期毕业，中途休学，毕业后没有opt?

因为实习经历少，我想有没有一种可能，还剩一学期毕业时， 休学半年回国找实习。然后再回来读半年毕业。
不过很担心毕业后在美国没有opt了（听说），不知是否如此呢？

另外 看到有人opt了一半回国实习，半年后又返回美国找工作（此时已过了opt期），这是神马情况呢？

希望大家指点!

应该是木有学位木有OPT吧，继续读能够顺利毕业为毛没opt呢。

我刚刚搜了一下，维基说  Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a period during which undergraduate and graduate students with F-1 status who have completed or have been pursuing their degrees for more than nine months are permitted by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to work for at most one year.
我已经在美国读了一学年了。

我说的一年的意思是指一学年，所以不包括暑假，不等于是12个月。但是必须是你申请opt的那个时候。中间断了就不行。我所有上过学的学校的ISSS网站上都是明确这么说的。

维基也未必是准确的，最好是读一下法律条文，条文是最高标准，如果条文里面没有明确说一定要连续，那就有argue的空间。8 CFR 214.2 (f)(10)是关于practical training。我大概看了一下，好像比较模糊，没有说行也没有说不行。

第二个问题，OPT必须在毕业后14个月之内完成（214.2 (f)(10)(ii)(A)( 3 )），因此，如果OPT期已过，那么即使没用完也不能再用了。

恐怕不成，opt需要至少连续在美国一年以后才能申请

What is OPT?
Optional Practical Training [OPT] is work authorization available to international students who have been in valid F-1 status for at three consecutive quarters and who plan to seek employment in the U.S. in their field of study.  OPT is recommended by an advisor at the International Center, but final approval is granted by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service [USCIS].
When Can I Apply?
If you are applying for OPT [post-completion of degree] the earliest you can apply for OPT is 90 days before your program end date. The latest date the USCIS will accept your application is 60 days after your program end date. See the OPT Application Presentation for more information.
What is Your Completion Date?
For OPT purposes, this is the day you complete your final degree requirements [should match Section 5 of your I-20]:

各位好 我已经问过学校isss了  学校说 必须得申请前两个semester在学校 不是one year 也不是one academic year 如果包含一个暑期和秋季学期都可以。
确实如果休学后只剩一个学期是不行的。
