英国准备在周二开始向公众注射首批新冠疫苗

上周获得英国药品监管机构紧急批准的辉瑞新冠疫苗，将于周二向一线卫生工作者、护理院工作人员和80岁以上的老人发放，使其成为世界上最早推出新冠疫苗的国家之一。而英国也将这天称之为“V Day”。

英国预购了4000万剂辉瑞新冠疫苗，由于每人需要注射2剂，该国已经购买了足够2000万人接种的剂量。英国还向阿斯利康和Moderna公司预购了其他新冠疫苗，但这些疫苗尚未获得批准。

Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine, which was urgently approved by the British drug regulatory agency last week, will be distributed to front-line health workers, nursing home staff and elderly people over 80 years old on Tuesday, making it one of the first countries in the world to launch a coronavirus vaccine. The U.K. also called this day "V Day".

The U.K has pre-ordered 40 million doses of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine. Since each person needs to inject two doses, the country has already purchased enough doses for 20 million people.
