托福独立写作-----spend more money on young children’s education

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? To achieve successful development of a country, a government should spend more money on young children’s education rather than on universities.

The speaker asserts more money should be spent on young children’s education instead of universities. It is the fact that education for the young is vitally important. However, whether it needs more money than that of university is highly doubted.

Admittedly, if it is affordable, government should spend a creasing mounts of money to prompt the prosperity of the young's education, since the teenager or childhood is a key stage of everyone and what we learn in this period of time directly affect our future development or even our whole lifetime. It is process named enlightenment, which means the value system and cognition system are established in that time. If a child can not receive a high quality education, it will be a pity and he will miss best time to study things which he still need to make up when he grows up.

Nevertheless, the education in university is equally significant or even more significant.

Moreover, the significance of education for some stage does not necessarily means it should be allocated more money. Actually, compared with education in elementary school or high school, education in university cost much more money because of the great expense in libraries and labs and many other things that cost only a little in the former. In addition, this kind of investment is of great value for the successful development of the society. Many institutions playing crucial role in the development of a nation are just branches of certain universities.
