In the popular mind, (不落俗套的好词)it is immediately assumed that an expert, who is specialized in one field or skill, tends to have higher possibility to success. Admittedly, precious experience and highly-valued research enable experts to deal with challenging projects, for example, the innovation of car’s engine. However, accompany with the rapid growth of technology and society, the requirements for nowadays citizens become more rigid and multiple; a skillful mechanical engineer, master three different language, well proficient in computer science. Therefore, it is never sufficient to master only one skill, due to the increasing demand and pressure from society.
To begin with, the mastery on multiple skills can guarantee a promising career. It is commonly believed that opportunity is of crucial importance to success. Some people may say, how can I acquire an opportunity? Well, various skills may help you achieve this goal. A recent research performed by a group of sociologists from Harvard University shows that employers particularly have the tendency to send job offers to versatile applicants. As for the reason, Mr. Smith, the sociologists of Harvard University, (哈哈,给学校和教授换个名字吧,看起来更像一点)suggested that various skills indicated the better learning ability of the applicants, which was the cardinal capacity that company expected. Moreover, since social reward is accurately adjusted to individual ability, there is no question that people, who widely mastered skills or techniques, showing a strong background of capacity for work, own the huge advantage of higher salary, more opportunities for promotion and better welfare. Thus, they are more likely to success compared to those who merely specializing on one skill.
On the other hand, multi-skilled people gain access to available (这里access和available的语义重复,删掉available)choices of various vocations. If you have the ability of playing the piano, drawing and even computer programming, it is obvious that there are three distinct careers that are accessible for you: pianist, painter, and computer engineer. A skill is just like a key, opening the door of a different world. The more keys you owned, the more diverse careers you may have. (类比说理,大加分!)Not only can we obtain cherished experience from art, music, or other fields, but also enrich the cognition of the real life conditions of certain occupation. . Χ
Admittedly, in contrast to versatile people, experts have deeper understanding of the skill. However, they may have to confront a situation with less promotion opportunities, the inflexibility of work, and less salary, regardless of the huge (换个更好一点的词吧,e.g. considerable)advantage of specialization. Thus, it would be better for an expert mastering in different areas.
In conclusion, through the analysis of two aspects, multi-skilled people are more likely to have a promising career and multiple choices, which are two substantial elements of (改:two substantial factors for figuring out)the way to success. Therefore, I agree with the statement above.
范文! 通篇文章读起来几乎没什么好改的,Raw score 至少4.5分。举例很detailed,说理也比较严谨,用词也非常地讲究。继续练JJ作文吧,Enjoy your 928! |
