1.      Amazon Product and Customer Insights Strategy – Innovation Team - Program Support

Who are we? What are we doing?

As a global team, our team provides a business consulting service to Amazon’s WW businesses by monitoring emerging business trends and studying innovative business models across countries. We are innovating and building new methodologies and products to continuously iterate and improve our Service - all in an effort to influence products and services at Amazon and ultimately to better serve our customers.

What can you get from this position?

Specifically, in this position, you will support team leader to contribute to Asia and Global programs that help Amazon identify opportunities to improve our business. You will contribute to innovation programs across multiple business segments (e.g., E-commerce and Retail, Media and Entertainment, FinTech, SaaS and etc.), geographies (Asia focused) and business departments (e.g., Retail, Marketplace, Digital, etc.). This position will allow you to have exposure to various innovation areas and develop understanding in the most cutting-edge businesses. You will make a real impact for our customers from Day 1 and provide a dynamic, innovative and fast-paced environment to constantly build your skillset and address new challenges.

Who are we looking for?

Timeline Requirement: The candidate should be able to work at least 4 days per week and ensure 6-month internship

Job Responsibility:

 Conduct desktop research on various companies, industries and geos, and consolidate findings and provide insights

 Collect and analyze a wide range of industry and customer-related data

 Conduct administrative tasks

Basic Qualifications:

 Studying/having studied an analytical subject (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science)

 Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including proficiency in Excel

 Good written and oral communication in English and Mandarin Chinese

Preferred Qualifications

 Previous internship experience or exposure in Management Consulting, Financial Services, or Corporate Strategy/Corporate Development, Product Management and Business Analytics in leading tech companies

 Good attention to details

 Good diving deep skills

 Self-starter and extremely organized

 Good critical thinking

 Based in Beijing

 Basic understanding in Japanese/Korean

 Basic skills in video making and editing
