申请被建议转系是什么情况

申请rochester得bme phd。。。今早上收到邮件说，觉得更适合申请ece，想问我愿不愿意被share到ece得admission去。。。这是什么情况。。。。虽然我是ece得，但是申请的都是ultrasound imaging。。。。

Thank you for applying to the BME graduate program at the University of Rochester.  Our Admissions Committee has reviewed your file, and they feel that your application may be more suitable for the graduate program in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Dept.  Would you give us permission to share your application with them?  All of your documents would still remain confidential, and it will not involve any additional application fee.

实际情况是，我陶瓷的导师帮我推荐到ece的。。。增大录取概率，他都可以advise。。。

被降成ms录取了＝＝哎。。。。

可能ece的教授看上你了被。。share了又不亏什么咯～～

深度怀疑不止是share。。。而是transfer。。。。我还是prefer bme的。。。

Anyway...Rochester funding is not enough...each group is just 2-3phd...
