thesis答辩所在的学期 学费能退吗

只有thesis注册（没有课）的学期，都要求全额缴纳学费（不知道是不是合理）。

如果最后一个学期答辩的话，这个学期的全额学费能退或者退一部分吗？

有没有经验的朋友解答一下。多谢。

这是学校给出的答复：
About tuition fees:

Tuition fees should be paid in full when due. Note that changes to your registration status and fees assessed in the term of defence may occur as follows:

If you have defended, uploaded your post-defence, approved thesis/dissertation to Scholars Commons and the FGPS is in receipt of all paperwork confirming completion:  

Normally by the last work day of the term (see academic dates section in the Calendar for specific dates each semester), your registration for the term in which you defended will be voided and you may be eligible for a 100% tuition and fees refund.
After the end of the first month of registration, but before the last date to withdraw without academic penalty (see academic dates section in the Calendar for specific dates each semester), your registration for the term in which you defended will be cancelled as of the date you have been cleared to graduate and you may be eligible for a 45% tuition only refund (incidental fees are not refunded).


You will be advised by the FGPS when you have been cleared to graduate and your registration and tuition account adjusted so that you may request a credit balance refund.

After the last date to withdraw at the 55% tuition assessment date, you will remain registered until the end of the semester and full tuition and incidental fees must be paid.

To be eligible for a refund, students must have been registered for the term prior to completion. Students returning from inactive status, parental leave, temporary withdrawal or re-admitted students are ineligible for refunds.

全额学费，很贵。 thesis 持续至少三个学期。

不注册学分没法维持f1 status吧？

每学期13k多 加元
