GWU PhD

传说中的AD狂魔，看地里以前尽然没有一个是直接拿到offer的。。。还在问钱的事，没钱是不可能去的。本来说好的offer雨的三月却一直在悲剧，不是rej就是waitlist，感觉是自己定(Gao)位(Gu)有(Zi)问(Ji)题(Le),申了太多超过自己实际水平的学校，应该申的却几乎都没申。。。唉，no zuo no die。Whatever，求四月转运啊！！！另求拿到UChicago MS和Duke MSS的不去的大神可以尽早decline掉，求被收留

记得GWU Stat的PhD不是要求要有硕士学位才能申请吗？

嗯，我也是后来才知道的，但是见这段话最后的一句
A master's degree in statistics or a related discipline. The main requirement is a strong background in mathematics, including courses in advanced calculus, linear algebra, and mathematical statistics (similar to Stat 6201-2). Some deficiencies may be made up concurrently during the student's first year. In some instances, a student may enter the PhD program with a bachelor's degree.

嗯，号称“贵族学校”。。。不过他家还奇怪，尽然连phd最近几年也只发ad（from 地里和gradecafe的往年纪录），有offer的貌似都是后来套出来的。。。

GW的stat尤其没有funding。。。。
