求问UT-Dallas AD处理方法

帮发不了贴的同学问~~=。=


UT-Dallas的phd AD，小米说，必须先在他家系统里accept这个AD，才有资格评TA\fellowship~~

  
同学主要想问下，accept了这种没钱的AD，以后等他家发了有钱的offer、再说不去，算不算什么反悔、违反协议什么的？不算他就先accept这个AD了唔……

谢有经验的同学解答~~

纯AD无所谓的

原话是怎么说的，系统里accept部分的条款是怎么说的？我觉得不太可能有这样的要求，不给钱就先让卖身，没道理吧。

UTD 是不是给所有申请的人都发了 AD啊？

我还没收到啊...想知道收到AD是什么时候完成申请的。我的状态还显示缺六样东西。晕菜，一早就寄到了...

小米的原话是： You must accept the admissions for the TA position to be offered.囧
还有他家网申系统里缺的那几件东西（学位证明神马的）可以无视~大家都没有毕业，自己没有毕业证之类的，评审的时候知道我们没寄，不会耽误评审的~

发AD的原文写accept或者decline的内容：
As a newly admitted student, you need to set up a permanent NetId and Password using your 10-digit UTD ID by following these steps:
1.    Visit netid.utdallas.edu

2.    Click on the “Set up a new UTD computer account” link.

3.    Enter your temporary UTD-ID (mailed separately) and your date of birth

4.    Click “Submit” and follow the instructions to set up your password and security questions.

You can now use your new NetID and Password to declare your intent to enroll by accepting the admission through the Self Service Center in UTD’s Orion System. The process is simple.
1.    Visit https://www.utdallas.edu/orion/index.html and click on the “Log In” button.

2.    In the screen that follows, enter your net-ID (which is of the form ‘abc123456’) and Password.

3.    Click on the “Self Service” link on the left side of the page.

4.    Click on “Student Center”.

5.    Continue by clicking the “Accept” or “Decline” link in the Admissions area of the page and follow the steps from there.

虽然没有上下文，但是从这句话的字面意思来看，他说的是“TA position to be offered”，而不是“TA position to be considered”。所以我想他的意思，并不是说你要先accept才会给你评奖，而是说，如果给你TA位置，这个位置要以入学为先决条件，而不能不在他家入学，光去做TA工作，这个是不行的。
