求比较 jhu msds 在读 23fall brown mscs umich ece cs track

本人是 jhu msds 23sp入学的
然后申了一手23fall的
拿了23fall brown mscs
umich ece cs track的offer
有点纠结该不该走，走去哪
坚决读phd
去brown如果1年半加上这半年浪费也得两年才能硕士毕业了

jhu msds的好处在于啥课都能上 数学+cs+ece 工院的课随便上，但是就是不是cs title，专排也较差
brown听说转phd容易，而且workload小 做科研时间多，就是时间比较久
umich专排综排双高，ece也很强也是cv（我目前的方向），就是不是cs title，而且听说卷出天际了

有点小纠结～ 求助求助～

同纠结Brown CS和UM ECE-CV
Brown学长说不能转博，只能重新申请
UM我给他们发邮件问了，回复如下

I am delighted to say that for the PhD program as an ECE MS students, there are two routes that you may like to consider for the PhD:
- Apply as normal for Fall with all 3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, and academic statement. Applying in a normal fashion would allow you to be considered for fellowships/funding opportunities within the department.  This application would need to be completed in full to ensure you are considered for department funding if available for the Fall term.  Application deadline for this option is December 15
- Apply in a streamlined fashion: If you have an advisor who has agreed to fund you as a GSRA for your PhD studies, you may apply in a direct way. With this option, you will complete an application and then add myself, your advisor, and ece-grad-program@umich.edu for the letters of recommendation.  Your advisor will need to submit a letter confirming they will be funding you as a GSRA.

My advice to anyone starting their U-M career is to do well in classes, participate and attend office hours (continue to have a strong GPA/transcript), get to know the faculty in your research area and make yourself known for any possible research opportunities.
