Microfluidic Research Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Memphis sincerely recruits 2 doctoral students, who will enter in Fall 2023, with a monthly stipend of US $ 2,500 and tuition wavier.

University of Memphis is a public research university (R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity), located in Memphis, the largest city in Tennessee, and the seventeenth largest city in the United States. The region boasts abundant medical resources, convenient transportation, and a pleasant environment.
The Microfluidics Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Memphis is committed to developing creative microfluidic chips (Lab-on-a-chip platform) and micro/nano systems to solve problems related to healthcare and biomedicine Research related issues. We are a productive and enthusiastic team. The current project development direction of the laboratory:
• Acoustic bubble microfluidics (Fundamental study of acoustic bubbles and its applications)
• Innovative Lab-on-a-Chip technology for biomedical applications
• Soft micro/nanosensors
At the same time, if you have related fields that they are very interested in, they are also welcome to apply.

• 有热情,工作勤奋坚持
• 科学和工程方面背景,机械/生物医学/化学工程、材料科学以及相关方面有良好发表记录优先
• 良好英文阅读和写作能力
• Enthusiasm, diligence, and perseverance in work.
• Background in science and engineering, with preference given to those in mechanical/biomedical/chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields with a strong publication record.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing skills.
