（生统选校）被托福口语卡了~ 问大家~ 放弃吗?

我的T：29+23+22（speaking）+29

Policy requires that applicants meet the minimum requirements of each section on the internet-based test: Reading—21; Listening—18; Speaking—23; Writing—22. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements of English proficiency are not eligible for admission. Applicants whose TOEFL scores are below the minimum in any category will not be reviewed for admission.

U Rochester

The Graduate School requires the following minimum TOEFL scores:
Paper-based:                      587
Computer-based:               240
Internet-based: Reading: 22/30, Listening: 22/30, Speaking: 26/30, Writing: 24/30

如果这是少数情况，可以放弃啊。

不申也罢……
如果看上了哪个老师特别喜欢，就强申……也就是几十块钱申请费嘛……

这种明确规定的还是别申请了 你要想有很多人是达到了这个要求在申请的 人家背景就比你差吗  不过如果你自己超级大牛那么可以一试

rochester实际口语分数也应该没这么高，不过我最近几年没拿下过这个学校，所以不算是第一手经验。。。

最后，这两个学校的offer对于非牛来说，本来就难度很大，托福反而不是主要问题了。。。

老问题了，LZ可以发邮件给小米试探下口风............

I have a toefl score of 29+23+22(speaking session)+29=103, a little low than the minimum score of speaking session required by your department, can I still apply for your program?

Unfortunately we do not review applicants who do not meet the minimum TOEFL requirements (speaking=23), so I would advise you to retake the exam in order to be considered.  We do not make exceptions to this.
