我觉得还是不要用弱势的语气去博同情。不要说this is important for us. or we have to go back to xxx bla bla bla. 要据理力争，说extend会带来的好处，cancel 会带来的坏处。我看前几页大都是反对，反对的点也就是jobs market shrinking.

I strongly SUPPORT the proposal for the following reasons:

Invalidating the extension will truly hurt the opportunity for thousands of foreign students. This will lead to negative impacts toward both economic condition and industrial growth.

From industry perspective, creating jobs from multiple sources of working forces will obviously stimulate development of markets. Introduction of diversity benefits industries in epansion and growth, as well as culture.

From companyies' perpective, it is reasonable for companies to hire the best of the best without a question regardless where the sources are from. Forcing companies to change the hiring process though political pressure runs contrary to both competition equality and corporation growth. not only Google, other big heads IT companies need QUALIFIED work forces to bolster and support their services.

The argument that companies tend to foreign workers with discounted pay does not stand its point. According to http://www.usatoday.com/story/mo ... nies-115k/31303639/, at least for tech industry, big companies offer relatively competitive salary along with their growth. For the big companies that are also big heads in applications for H1 visas each year, they pay foriegn employers just as much as citizen workers. The employers know the right wage for right skills. Necessity comes before money. Thus, false facts invalidate this argument.

The arguments regarding "job stealing" rely on a certain doubtful assumption that the existence of foreigners themselves is the reason that causes unemployment of some citizens. This is not necessarily true. The biggest factor behind the change in the structure of employment in U.S. lies in market changes. These changes make companies raise different skills requirements and increase turnover rate. As illustrated in last paragraph, companies only ask for human resources with the right skills. In this case, competence comes before filling. Employment of forgeiners is only an aspect of the outcome of these changes. Restraining the time for foreigners to work as an attempt to overturn the changes through policy pressure will not only have little effect toward but also negatively impact economy of the U.S. Thus, improper reverse argument renders itself unconvincing as it stands.

In sum, the proposal boosts the possibility of potential growth of American technology and raises contributions made by multiple kinds of working forces. This will not only bring opportunies and energy to markets and economy in the U.S., but also inject new competitions to spark innovation among minds.

America is a immigrant country, and the reason it stays prosperous till now is that it accepts different types of people regardless of their race, gender, sex orientation, etc. I think every skilled educated young people deserve a chance to develop themselves and help develop the country. The IT industry need more STEM students, and the whole country need the IT industry.

1. U.S. is famous as his high technology and lots of people are using these technology to change the whole world. The reason why lots of international student come to US to study not only because the benefit they can get but we can get the best education and environment to learn knowledge. The responsibility to improve the whole world is for both the US citizen and international student.

2. Nowadays, the biggest Internet or technology company are consist of international people. If they do not have enough time OPT to get the authority continue work in US, they must leave. You can imagine that if most of them leave, the technology will not continue moving, no new technology will be published.

3. US is a immigration country. Not all the US citizens' parents or grandparents are born in US. People should have equal chance to choose their lives. So Cancel the STEM OPT is not fair for the students nowadays.
