跳级修课方法
免掉pre-req限制有几个方法
1. CLEP: 拿高中老本去考,calculus,physics,chemistry,biology照理都不是问题,绝对能马上过
    CLEP的限制: 只能6个月考一次.考砸了就要等六个月
2. community college修不重要的 core requirements, 人文历史那类的
    transfer credits dont go into your GPA.    注意    community college also requires application, 但通常是免费的
    admission之後到advisor office register classes, 说明你是concurrent student (表示你只是在这里修小课)
    international student 还需要见international advisor, so you will have to meet two advisors
    需要Bacterial Meningitis prove和就读college transcript (如果在UT austin念就要出示UT austin's transcript)
3. 找教授,说服他替你签字,允许你修课
4. 找advisor,问alternative way
5. 有些课列为pre-req, 但实际上可以co-req,多问学长姊教授或advisor

申请本科我觉得不难,读本科更是容易.
工程本科最花时间,因为pre-req限制多.
商学院基本两年就可念完,花四年念完我觉得是挺可耻的.
有位同学两年就完成accounting finance double major,目前已就业.

It is really hard to get over these pre-req courses.........T T

从高中起就有这样的目标真的很厉害啊

um, what do you mean?
I tested out of calculus, chemistry,
and I could've tested out physics as well...but I didn't know about CLEP at the time.
also, history, humanities and art can be tested out as well, as long as you've studied them.
Everything earned requires effort.

what classes are you referring to?

pre-req route:
devices->circuit
emag+engineering math->RF
digital circuit->VLSI

I finished all the pre-reqs in order to get in higher level classes.
VLSI projects and circuit lab took me alot of time, but it's do-able.

That's exactly my question, did you take all the classes in the concentration? That will be so unbelievable. You must be so smart...
What do you mean by circuit? Is is analog circuit or just the general pre circuit class for digital and analog? As far as I know, the RF concrentration at least have 3 classes, and VLSI also needs at least 3 classes, how do you manage to take those classes at the same time, would you like to share some experience?

oh, I see what you're saying.
Can you list out all the categories and the classes that go with them?
For instance, what are the 3 classes youre referring to in RF concentration? and VLSI? and analog?
I didn't pay particular attention in those since I'm able to take any classes as long as I finish the pre-reqs. Courses also vary from school to school.

yes, the circuit class I mentioned is general circuit.
for analog classes, I believe the pre-req route is
general circuit->analog
