Do what? 在说做什么？ =Excuse me?=Pardon?=I'm sorry?=What's that?=Say that again? = come again?(有不确信的意思)
"We are going to have a picnic this weekend." 没听清楚就说Do what?
Say what!? 意思是说＂这不可能吧！＂

比方说一群人在玩猜别人小秘密的游戏，而下一个轮到猜Rachel 的秘密，这时你要怎麽说？你可以说，"It's Rachel's turn." 不过比较好的说法应该是，"Let's do Rachel!" 在这里do someone 有谈论某人，猜他的秘密等等的多重意思在内。
"All right, Rachel first." 再来轮到Julie，"OK. Let's do Julie."

其实 "Yes, I do." 最着名的用法莫过於在婚礼当中，牧师都会问新郎新娘诸如，"Do you, Bryan, take Laura to be your wife?" 这时新郎就要赶紧回答，"Yes, I do." 表示新郎是出於自愿，而不是被新娘的老爸逼着要娶她。而同样的问题也会问新娘，"Do you, Laura, take Bryan to be your husband?" 新娘这时也要回答"Yes, I do." 我自己以前常误认为是，"Yes, I will." 但事实上，"Yes, I do." 才是在婚礼上最标准的用法。
