求教H1B跳槽，离职入职注意事项总结

Hello 大家好。本人最近准备以H1B身份跳槽，I140已批，即将面临离职入职，有几个问题想向地里请教一下。

1. Is there a checklist of necessary documentations that we need to gather before resigning from current employer?
- H1B approval original notice
- I140 approval notice copy (the company refused to provide original doc in my case)
- Several recent paychecks
- Anything more?

2. About H1B transfer and I9 verification. (I plan to start the next job after H1B transfer is approved, in this case for I9 verfication before starting next job, would below documentation be enough?)
- Passport
- H1B approval original notice from previous employer
- H1B transfer application receipt & approval notice

3. About green card application with next employer
- We would need to start a new application again, PERM -> I140 -> etc.
- For PERM, we need to obtain a Employment Verification Letter from previous managers, so keep the conversation open with previous company
- For I140 to relink Priority Date, the previous I140 approval notice copy would be enough
