Job Title：Senior Software Engineer - Java based

Job Description:

• Develop FortiGate SDWAN controller.
• Java based system design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Communicating and collaborating with network device developer.
• Communicating and collaborating with UI developer.
• Participation in requirement analysis and architecture analysis.
• Ensure software code quality, testability, maintainability and function usability.
  

Skills Requirements:

• Excellent application system design and development skills.
• Strong experience in architecting, implementing and managing high performance server side Java application on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Design methodologies, SOA, data modeling techniques and SOAP.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / software technologies as needs arise.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and a responsible team-player.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
  

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years of object oriented software development in Java and Java-based open source frameworks
• At least 5 years of experience in multi-threaded and distributed application programming
• At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• At least 3 years of experience with databases (RBDMS and NoSQL)
  

• Experience in JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP is a plus
• Experience with network device development is a plus
• Experience with SDN controller development is a plus
  

Educational Requirements:

• B. S. degree in Computer Science or similar degree is preferred
  

Job Title: Junior Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop cloud based FortiGate SDWAN controller.
• Design, implementation and maintenance SDWAN features
• Be responsible for all aspects of the software development life cycle for the applicable projects, including gathering requirements, design, implementation and deployment
  

Skills Requirements:

• Linux development experience
• Java programming experience
• Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocol
• Basic troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Good written/spoken communications skills
  

Educational Requirements:

• B. S. degree in Computer Science or similar degree is preferred
