被waitlist是否可以用其他学校的录取催问结果

申请phd，收到A学校录取但是第一年没有奖，之前被B学校waitlist了，邮件如下：
Unfortunately, we have only a small number of funded positions each year.  You are currently on the waiting list for funding.  A position may open up at any time and I will contact you immediately if we can offer you funding.  Please let me know if you have any questions about the program, funding, or anything else.  Please also let me know if you receive an offer from another university, I would be happy to discuss the pros and cons of different programs.  If you wish to be admitted without funding, please let me know that as well.

像上面说的，好像我拿到其他学校录取可以给他们说，B学校是保奖的，现在可以拿A学校的录取找B学校argue吗？或者现在除了等着可以做些什么呢？

他后面说的是“I can tell you that you are very high on our waiting list, and it is quite likely that we will be able to offer you funding. I’ll let you know as soon as I can”

mark一下。个人感觉是可以发个email说一下的。大意就是虽然我收到了offer，但是我很喜欢你们program，我也很想去，但是as a student, I cannot support myself without funding. 再说一下自己最近有什么update（e.g. project进展如何）。最后说欢迎问我任何问题，期待回信。

但是A校是不保奖的，B校full funding，我担心B校老师知道这个情况，反而A校的offer是个劣势呢？所以纠结说不说和如何进一步argue？
