我的第5个PHD AD

329晚上收到邮件可以查询申请状态，于是进他家网申里面查情况。有可下载的Offer letter。信里面只说录取了，然后说奖学金给了链接让联系advisor。但是LZ早就知道他家有这段话：
“AssistantshipsGraduate assistantships within the School of Computing are highly competitive. All applicants are evaluated for available positions as teaching assistants; there is no need for a separate assistantship application.

Individual faculty members with grant funding evaluate students for research assistants. Outstanding applicants are referred to relevant faculty advisors based on the areas of interest identified in the applicant's personal statement (statement of purpose) in the on-line application.

Teaching assistantships typically pay a stipend of $15,000 for nine months. Research assistantship stipends may be more or less, depending on the faculty adviser's grant budget.”

于是昨晚给他家chair发邮件，收到如下回复：

Congratulations on being admitted to the ### graduate program. Currently, you are being considered for a teaching assistantship. Decisions regarding assistantships are currently being finalized. Therefore, you should receive official notification sometime this month. Information regarding the specifics of the assistantship will be provided at that time.

Thank you for your interest in joining my lab. Unfortunately, I am not accepting students at this time. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks.

现在在评TA，LZ不知道能否评上。我感觉会在415前出结果。这个应该是他家第一波。但是。。15000一年的TA是不是有点少 在南卡生活？
大家加油！我反正预感415之前我的结果基本全部出来。

楼主的申请结果非常牛逼，我等后背只能默默的烧香膜拜。。。。
