亚马逊宣布设立20亿美元基金投资气候技术公司

亚马逊宣布设立20亿美元的气候承诺基金，投资于开发产品、服务和技术的公司，以实现经济脱碳和保护地球。亚马逊今天发布了其2019年可持续发展报告以及该公司可持续发展目标和计划的更新，其中包括：
1.亚马逊宣布要在2025年之前使用100％可再生能源，比原计划提前五年。作为气候承诺的一部分，亚马逊之前承诺到2024年达到80％的可再生能源，到2030年达到100％的可再生能源。

Amazon has announced a $2bn climate commitment fund to invest in companies developing products, services and technologies to decarbonise the economy and protect the planet. Amazon today released its sustainability Report 2019 and an update to the company's SUSTAINABILITY goals and plans, including:

1. Amazon has announced a plan to use 100% renewable energy by 2025, five years ahead of schedule. As part of its climate commitment, The Amazon had previously committed to 80% renewable energy by 2024 and 100% by 2030.

2. So far, Amazon has announced 91 renewable energy projects around the world. With a total installed capacity of more than 2,900 megawatts, these projects will provide more than 7.6 million megawatt hours of renewable energy annually.

3. Amazon has invested $100 million in two climate funds, nature-based solutions and reforestation projects worldwide.

4. Since 2015, Amazon has reduced the weight of outbound packaging by 33% and eliminated more than 880,000 tons of packaging material, equivalent to 1.5 billion shipping boxes.  source
