达美航空计划削减飞行员的最低工资来避免停薪留职

本月达美航空已通知公司的60,000多名航空公司员工，待联邦薪金支持条款于10月1日到期后，他们可能将面临裁员，其中包括2500名飞行员。而达美目前与大部分航空公司一样，给予员工提前退休、买断工龄等自愿离职选项，来削减成本降低财务损失，据悉，已有1,700多名飞行员报名提前退休。与此同时，达美也开始计划降低飞行员的最低保证工资，该公司的飞行员工会也同意将其最低保证工资降低15％，来避免更多的飞行员被裁掉或停薪留职。
