美联航周二显示：第二季度已亏损16.3亿美元

Due to the surge in coronavirus cases across the U.S and the 14-day quarantine from many states to New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, the recovery of air travel still faces challenges. According to the current situation, the airline said that it expects its capacity in the third quarter to drop 65% from the same period last year. However, cargo has become a bright spot in the company's business. United Airlines said that after the airline added more than 4,800 cargo flights, its cargo revenue soared 36% over the same period last year, reaching US$402 million.
