UIUC的托福

最低103，官网写的中位数103，这是怎么做到的，难不成所有人都是103？？是不是意思没到也可以试一试

不会吧，duolingo也才要105，而这个分等同于托福80。而duolingo 105-124的要上ESL。就是在学校补补英语那种

统计department说79-102要上ESL，103及以上不用

看专业，ECE院系的full admission只有托福greater than 102才能拿到，正好102都不知道算不算过线。托福96到102能录取，但是是limited admission，要过ESL才行。

金工，我看项目说要过103，但是项目给的录取数据又说中位数103。。。。迷惑  要是卡的严就不想送钱了

又确认了一下金工的项目写的是TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 103 (iBT), 257 (CBT), or 613 (PBT)，没有写接受duolingo，也没有说低于103会怎样。
但是官方给出来的录取数据明确写了mean TOEFL 103，太迷惑了

那就OK。就是FE官网写的最低98分。按照系的要求为准。
Can I still apply with a TOEFL score below 103?
Yes, The MS Financial Engineering program has been designed to be exceptionally challenging and mastery of the English language is extremely important. If your TOEFL score is more than 5 points below the minimum of 103 iBT, you are encouraged to re-take the TOEFL. If you are within 5 points of the minimum, your other scores are excellent and you meet all prerequisites, you should apply if re-taking the TOEFL is not an option.  You may of course apply with a score more than 5 points below the minimum, but unless your qualifications are quite stellar, there may be little the Admissions Committee can do.
