学长 我再请教一个关于UCD的问题

请问你是在UCD读master还是phd呢？今天我发现UCD的网站上写申请master的国际学生没有教授愿意出钱资助的话 一般是不考虑的 ==！ 还说strongly encourage international students to apply phd degree. 如果直接申phd的话 是不是要陶好瓷才有希望呢？

International students only wishing to pursue an Master's degree receive the LOWEST admission priority. They may only be admitted with the explicit support and commitment from specific professors in the ECE Graduate Program.

How many international Master's degree students were admitted in 2009?

In 2009, the department admitted 3 international M.S. students. In 2008, the department admitted 2 international M.S. students.
We strongly encourage international students to apply for the PhD program given that doctoral applicants receive the highest priority.

这都是老黄历了。我读的就是MS。本人科研无爱，就是准备毕业了在湾区找个工作，养家糊口。UCD从13fall开始扩招了，如果这两年申，说不定能赶上好时候。我问过ECE这边的教授，他们都说前面很多年，他们基本只招博士生，MS招得非常稀少，现在政策有所便宜，希望可以diversity一些。就是这么个情况。
