前公司的offer letter 上的特殊条款

The Employee agrees to not at any time during
employment with The Company, or within the eighteen (18) months following the
Termination Date (as defined in the Agreement) of the Employee's employment with The
Company, regardless of reason (including Involuntary Termination, constructive
dismissal, wrongful dismissal, resignation or otherwise), solicit or assist to solicit, the
employment or engagement of or otherwise entice away from The Company any
individual who is employed or engaged by The Company and with whom the Employee
dealt during the twenty-four (24) months preceding such termination.

鄙人英文不佳，这前公司offer上的详细条款当时只读了一遍。

现在已跳槽去另一家公司，新公司正好有个好岗位想把之前的同事refer进来。
我个人理解为,不知是否对错, 望大神指点迷津:
离职后的18个月内不能直接/间接从这个公司拉人. 离职前24个月内打过交道的这个公司的人也不能拉.

请问北美有人见过类似的terms么??

那就不能由我本人refer了呗(少了referal bonus). 让我同事自己申请好了. 然后我就当个透明人?? 微信聊天记录一删, 他还怎么取证说我诱导别人跳槽的???
望大家给点意见.

有的, 正常
以前让离职的同事refer, 同事说因为这个条款不行, 她本身就是hr。让我找另一个前同事。

美国也有类似条款，好像是12个月内不能拉人走。
