Hi, are you still enroll in the data science classes? or do you know others who is currently taking the course?

lz,这个课还要access to GitHub。那个网站我选了free，还是要填信用卡信息，略坑啊……不用这个GitHub就不能学这个课吗？

I think it might ask you for credit card info, but from what I see if you don't request private repository, they won't really charge you. But I am not 100% sure about that. I just Emailed the GitHub website and asked the very same question that you just asked. Also Emailed the coursera website as well. Hopefully, they will get back to me soon.

What I expect is that when the session starts, the instructor will provide help... at least instrucion on the GitHub. And from what I saw, those coursera always provide alternatives for software that you have to pay for. Like you can use Octave (free) instead of Matlab (free)

It's a class without pre-req.... Should be an entry level class

I think this is a good class for me to review... haven't worked on states fo a long time...
